“Oh my god, it was wild! It was so funny. When we found out we were going to be kissing, we were shooting the western part and the writers wanted to prep us, before we did the table read. They showed us some key Star Wars scenes and they were like, ‘So you guys are going to kiss in the next episode.’ And I was like, “Aw, man, this is going to be like kissing my brother!’” Brie humorously recalled Danny Pudi’s, “Thanks a lot!” response to that, and that she assured him, “No, Danny, you’re very sexy man, but you’re my best friend in the world.” She added, “The upside of that is we feel so comfortable with each other, but the downside was we could not keep a straight face. Literally, we had to get the giggles out of our system and then we had to stop and hold hands, take some deep breaths, and we were like, ‘Hey, we can do this. Let’s just go for it!’ […] For the record, Danny’s a great kisser!”
